SEND REQUESTS TO

support@motordexgame.com

Subject line: LAW ENFORCEMENT REQUEST (or EMERGENCY DISCLOSURE REQUEST). Send from an official government email address, on letterhead, with your name, badge or ID number, agency, and a phone number we can call back through your agency's switchboard.

By post: MotorDex Game LLC, 570 El Camino Real #150-306, Redwood City, CA 94063, USA. We do not accept requests by phone or through the app.

EMERGENCY REQUESTS

If you believe someone faces an imminent risk of death or serious physical injury, we may disclose information without legal process (18 U.S.C. §§ 2702(b)(8) and 2702(c)(4)). Send an EMERGENCY DISCLOSURE REQUEST from an official address describing the emergency, why it is imminent, the account involved (the player's handle as shown in the app), and the specific information you need. We read these requests as a priority. We may ask for confirmation through your agency.

PRESERVATION REQUESTS

We honour preservation requests under 18 U.S.C. § 2703(f). On a valid request we take a copy of the account's records and keep it for 90 days, extendable once by a further 90 days on a renewed request, while you obtain legal process. Identify the account by handle (and, if you have them, the date of a catch or a screenshot of the profile) and say what you want preserved.

Child sexual abuse material we become aware of is reported to NCMEC's CyberTipline and preserved for one year as federal law requires (18 U.S.C. § 2258A).

LEGAL PROCESS WE REQUIRE

Requests must be specific: the account (handle), the date range, and the data sought. We may push back on requests that are overly broad, unclear, or not legally valid. We do not charge for responding to valid requests.

WHAT MOTORDEX HOLDS

MotorDex is a car-spotting game. Players photograph cars and collect them as cards. There are no private messages. What an account can have:

When a player deletes their account, their data is removed and cannot be recovered by us, except the records our Privacy Policy says we keep (backups roll off on the schedule stated there). Retention periods are set out in full in the Privacy Policy.

NOTICE TO USERS

Our policy is to tell a player before disclosing their information, so they can seek legal advice, unless the law forbids it (for example a non-disclosure order under 18 U.S.C. § 2705(b)), the request is an emergency, or notice would put someone at risk or be counterproductive (for example in child-safety cases).

REQUESTS FROM OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES

MotorDex Game LLC is a US company. Non-US authorities should use a Mutual Legal Assistance Treaty (MLAT), a letters rogatory process, or an agreement under the US CLOUD Act where one applies. Emergency requests from any country are reviewed as above.
