We respect intellectual-property rights, we remove infringing material, and we

Put COPYRIGHT in the subject line. By post:
MotorDex Game LLC, 570 El Camino Real #150-306, Redwood City, CA 94063,
USA.
Our registration of an agent with the US Copyright Office is in progress.
Until it is complete, notices sent to the email address above are the way to
reach us, and we act on them as described here.
WHAT A NOTICE MUST INCLUDE
To be complete, a notice needs these six things (17 U.S.C.
§512(c)(3)):
- Your signature. A physical or electronic signature of
the copyright owner, or of a person authorised to act for the owner. A
typed full name in your email counts.
- The work. Identify the copyrighted work you say is
infringed. If a single notice covers several works, a list of them.
- The material, and where it is. Identify the photo you
want removed and tell us where it appears in MotorDex: the handle of the
player who posted it and the catch or card it is on. A screenshot helps.
- Your contact details. Your name, address, telephone
number and email address.
- A good-faith statement. A statement that you believe in
good faith that the use of the material is not authorised by the
copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- An accuracy statement. A statement that the information
in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are
the copyright owner or authorised to act for the owner.
If a notice is missing one of these, we tell you what is missing. A person
who knowingly makes a false claim in a notice can be liable for damages under
17 U.S.C. §512(f).
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT
- We remove or disable access to the material.
- We tell the player who posted it, and may send them a copy of your
notice.
- We keep a record of the notice.
COUNTER-NOTICE
If your photo was removed and you believe that was a mistake or that the
material was misidentified, you can send a counter-notice to the same email
address with COPYRIGHT COUNTER-NOTICE in the subject line. It
must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and where it appeared
before it was removed.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith
the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address and telephone number; a statement that you consent
to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or,
if you are outside the United States, of any district in which MotorDex
Game LLC may be found); and that you will accept service of process from
the person who sent the original notice, or their agent.
We forward a complete counter-notice to the person who sent the original
notice. Unless they tell us within 10 business days that they have filed a
court action to stop the material from going back up, we may restore it
between 10 and 14 business days after receiving your counter-notice.
REPEAT INFRINGERS
A player whose account receives repeated valid infringement notices loses
the account. Upload only photos you took yourself. The
Terms of Use and the
Community Guidelines say the same.
This page describes our notice process. It is not legal
advice. MotorDex is an independent game made by MotorDex Game LLC; car names
are used only to identify vehicles.
