WRONG BIRTHDAY IN MOTORDEX?
MOTORDEX · BY MOTORDEX GAME LLC
FOR THE IPHONE AND ANDROID APPS · UPDATED 28 OCT 2026
MotorDex asks for a birth month and year before anything else. If the
answer is under the minimum age, MotorDex stays locked on that phone, even
after reinstalling. If the birthday was typed wrong, this is how to fix it.
HOW TO UNLOCK IT ON IPHONE
- On the iPhone where MotorDex is locked, open MotorDex and tap
CHECK WITH YOUR APPLE ACCOUNT.
- Apple shares the age range of the Apple Account signed in on that
iPhone: the age given when that Apple Account was made, or the age a parent
set in Family Sharing. If it meets MotorDex’s
minimum age, MotorDex unlocks and asks the birthday again. Enter it
carefully: if it doesn’t match what Apple shared, MotorDex locks
again on that iPhone for good.
- If it still says “Your Apple Account couldn’t confirm
your age,” check the birthday on the Apple Account signed in
on that iPhone (for a child in Family Sharing, a parent can see it in
Settings → [your name] → Family → [child]).
- An adult’s Apple Account on an iPhone with parental controls
turned on can’t unlock MotorDex, unless a parent set that age in
Family Sharing.
- MotorDex is for ages 13 and up (higher in some
countries). If your child is under the minimum, we can’t make an
exception, but we will delete their account and data on request.
HOW TO UNLOCK IT ON ANDROID
- On the Android phone where MotorDex is locked, open MotorDex
and tap CHECK WITH YOUR GOOGLE ACCOUNT.
- Google Play shares the age range of the Google account on that phone:
the age given when that Google account was made, or the age a parent set
for it. If it meets MotorDex’s minimum age, MotorDex unlocks and asks
the birthday again. Enter it carefully: if it doesn’t match what
Google shared, MotorDex locks again on that phone for good.
- If it still says “Your Google account couldn’t confirm
your age,” check the birthday on the Google account used for
Google Play on that phone (for a child’s supervised account, a
parent can see it in the Family Link app).
IN AUSTRALIA
Australia’s minimum age is 16; the app asks your birth
month and year, and if your app store shares an age range, the app uses it.
